General Information:
First place winners receive the coveted FLIR Vision Award leather jackets, a traveling trophy, and a generous donation to the charity of your choice.  Second and third place winners also receive great prizes, including FLIR Vision Award apparel, personalized plaques, and donations to a favorite charity. 

Official Rules: 
1. All types of infrared and daylight videos will be considered for this award, with preference given to thermal footage.  Submissions are judged based on use of the imaging system in the success of the mission, ground coordination, and entertainment value. Clear audio can contribute to the impact and entertainment value of a submission. 

2. You must sign and enclose the FLIR Vision Award Release Form or your entry will not be eligible for consideration. Include the form with your video submissions. This release will be considered acknowledgement and release that FLIR Systems, Inc. may use the footage for the purpose of product marketing and promotion and may edit the video for entertainment purposes.

3. The deadline for video submission was Friday, May 23rd, 2008 . Videos received after the deadline cannot be considered for the current year's award.

4. Videos may be submitted on VHS, S-VHS, 8mm, or DV Tape.  All submitted tapes must be recorded or transferred to "Standard Play" (SP mode).  Please include audio if available.  Submitted videos will not be returned.

5. Enclose a brief outline of the incident and list the name, rank, and position of each crew member.  Please include a photograph of the airborne team submitting the video.  We welcome multiple entries from each department, but please only submit one video per airborne team.
